dojofood User Terms
Version 1.0 · Effective 17 October 2026
dojofood, Inc., 1111B South Governors Avenue, Suite 59952, Dover, DE 19904, United States ("dojofood", "we")
In short
- You are using dojofood because the business you work for or with has a dojofood subscription. That business controls the account and your access.
- dojofood's contract is with that business, not with you. Questions and claims go to the business.
- You log in with a one-time code sent to the phone number or e-mail address registered for you. Never share or forward a code, and never log in with someone else's.
- Use dojofood only for your work at that business, and use it honestly.
- Your actions in dojofood are logged and visible to the business.
- For help, ask your manager. dojofood's support works only with the people your business has named as Support Contacts, and it does not change your role or permissions at your request.
You accept these User Terms by clicking "I accept" the first time you log in, in whichever dojofood app you use first (web portal, mobile, point-of-sale or kitchen). Using dojofood after that counts as acceptance too.
1. Who these terms are for
1.1 These User Terms apply to every person who logs in to any part of dojofood, that is the web portal, the dojofood mobile application on a phone or tablet, the point-of-sale, kitchen and other dojofood applications on the business's devices, and the dojofood connector software running on those devices (together the "Service"), with a login created under a business's account: owners, managers, cashiers, waiters, kitchen staff, accountants and anyone else (each a "User", "you").
1.2 The business whose account you use ("your business") has a contract with dojofood, the dojofood Subscription Agreement (the "Subscription Agreement"). That contract sets the commercial terms between your business and dojofood. Your business may have bought dojofood through one of dojofood's sales partners (a "Partner"). The person who created the account for your business, or who now manages it, is its "Account Administrator". These User Terms set the rules for you as an individual User. If the two differ, the Subscription Agreement governs the relationship between your business and dojofood, and these User Terms govern your personal use.
1.3 Nothing in these User Terms gives you rights against dojofood or makes dojofood responsible to you. dojofood's duties are owed to your business under the Subscription Agreement.
1.4 These User Terms are shown to you the first time you log in, in whichever dojofood application you use first. You accept them by clicking "I accept"; you cannot use the Service before you do. One acceptance covers every dojofood application and device you use under the same login. dojofood records your acceptance: your User, your business's account, the date and time, the application and its version, the language shown and the version of these User Terms. That record is evidence of your acceptance.
2. Your business controls the account
2.1 Your business and its Account Administrator decide whether you get a login, what role and permissions you have, which locations you can see, and when your access ends. dojofood relies on your business's instructions for this.
2.2 Everything you enter into the Service (orders, products, prices, stock counts, notes, documents) belongs to your business. You have no claim to it and must not copy, export or share it except as your work requires and your business allows.
2.3 Your business can see what you do in the Service: your sales, voids, discounts, refunds, stock movements, logins and other actions are recorded against your User and are available to your business in its reports and logs.
2.4 If you are the Account Administrator, you have also accepted the Subscription Agreement for your business, and Section 1.3 of that Agreement applies to you personally.
2.5 If you are the Account Administrator, you also keep the list of Users current, remove people who leave, keep each User's registered mobile number or e-mail address correct and make sure new Users know these User Terms. If you are a Support Contact (Section 8), tell dojofood through a ticket about any unauthorised access as soon as you learn of it.
3. Your login is personal
3.1 You log in with a one-time code that dojofood sends to the mobile number or e-mail address your business has registered for you. There is no password. The code, the number or mailbox that receives it, and any PIN or lock code the Service may ask you to set later, identify you personally. Do not share, forward or read out a code to anyone, do not let anyone work under your login, and do not log in with a code sent to someone else, even if a manager asks you to. Nobody at dojofood, at your business or at the Partner needs your code. If anyone asks for it, refuse and tell your manager.
3.2 Keep the phone or mailbox that receives your codes under your own control. If you lose the phone, change the number or receive a code you did not request, tell your manager at once so that your business can update or block your login.
3.3 Log out, or lock the device, at the end of your shift and whenever you leave a device unattended. A session left open is treated as yours. If your business lets you use the dojofood mobile application on your own phone, keep that phone locked when you are not using it and remove the application when you leave your business.
3.4 Actions taken under your login are treated as your actions, toward your business and toward dojofood.
4. Rules of use
4.1 You will use the Service only for your work at your business and in line with your business's instructions. You will not:
(a) record sales, voids, discounts, refunds, payments or stock movements that did not happen, or leave out ones that did;
(b) use the Service for anything unlawful, or to help anyone evade tax or hide sales;
(c) enter payment card numbers, identity numbers, health information or other sensitive personal data into free-text fields, or upload documents that contain them beyond what an invoice or a menu ordinarily shows;
(d) copy, modify, reverse engineer or try to extract the source code, models, prompts or data structures of the Service, help anyone else to do so, or use what you learn in the Service to build a competing product;
(e) probe, scan, overload or interfere with the Service, bypass access controls, or use bots, scripts or scrapers;
(f) upload malware, or content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory or offensive;
(g) use the AI features of the Service for anything other than your business's operation, or try to bypass their safety and usage controls;
(h) insult, threaten, harass or discriminate against dojofood's staff, your business's dojofood Partner or anyone else through the Service or through support channels;
(i) remove or hide dojofood's marks, or register names, domains or accounts that contain "dojofood";
(j) have your login codes sent to a mobile number or e-mail address that is not yours or that other people can read;
(k) ignore a security notice dojofood shows in the Service, or switch off or work around a security feature;
(l) contact dojofood directly about your role, permissions, access or your business's account, or use dojofood's support channels, unless you are a Support Contact (Section 8);
(m) make false or misleading statements about dojofood, or use dojofood's name in a way that damages it;
(n) use one login for several people, or work under someone else's login, for any reason; one person, one login. The missing Users are charged to your business, and dojofood may limit a login to a set number of simultaneous sessions;
(o) list, offer, sell or deliver through the Service goods or services whose sale is prohibited or that your business may not lawfully sell, or hide them under another name or category; your business answers for every consequence.
5. AI features
5.1 Some parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to read documents, make suggestions or answer questions about your business's data. What they produce is a draft or a suggestion. Check it before you rely on it or act on it, and follow your business's instructions on when a manager must confirm. Your business pays for these features through credits that your requests consume, so use them for your work only, and never present an AI output as dojofood's statement or as a verified fact.
6. Devices and applications
6.1 The devices, printers, displays and terminals you use are provided by your business, not by dojofood, and dojofood has nothing to do with them. How you handle them, and what happens if they are lost or damaged, is between you and your business. dojofood's only concern is the software on them: when the Service asks for an update to the dojofood applications or connector software, install it or tell your manager, because old versions may stop working.
6.2 The dojofood mobile applications are also subject to the terms of the app store they come from. Where your business lets you run the mobile application on your own phone, that phone is likewise a matter between you and your business, not dojofood.
6.3 Features labelled beta, preview or similar are provided for evaluation. They may change or disappear without notice; follow your business's instructions on whether to use them.
7. Your personal data
7.1 dojofood processes personal data about you to give you a login and to run the Service: your name and role, the number or e-mail address your codes go to, the device, application and network you use, your acceptance of these terms, and your actions in the Service. Codes travel by SMS or e-mail through dojofood's providers. dojofood processes this data for your business, which is responsible for it as your employer, under the dojofood Data Processing Agreement at dojofood.com. Ask your business about its notices to staff.
7.2 Where dojofood processes data about you for its own purposes, for example to secure the Service, to prevent abuse or to handle a support ticket you opened as a Support Contact, the dojofood Privacy Policy at dojofood.com applies.
7.3 The Service is hosted in the region stated in dojofood's Data Processing Agreement, today Germany, and may be accessed by dojofood, its affiliates and subcontractors from the United States, Türkiye and other countries. Your business has authorised this.
8. Support: who dojofood talks to
8.1 Your business names one or more Users as its "Support Contacts" in the account settings; the Account Administrator is always one of them. dojofood's support works with the Support Contacts, and with the Partner where your business bought dojofood through one. It does not work with every User.
8.2 If you are not a Support Contact, take your question or problem to your manager or to a Support Contact, who decides whether to bring it to dojofood. dojofood may decline a request that comes from you directly, or answer it only by pointing you to the help centre or to your Support Contact, and it does not change your role, your permissions, your access or anything else in your business's account at your request. The reason is simple: how your business runs its operation inside dojofood, who may do what, and which questions reach dojofood are your business's decisions, and dojofood does not step between your business and its staff. dojofood is not responsible to you for declining or not acting on such a request.
8.3 If you are a Support Contact, your requests to dojofood count as your business's instructions, and dojofood may act on them without checking with anyone else. Ask only for what your business allows you to ask for. If you stop being a Support Contact, ask the Account Administrator to update the list.
8.4 When a Support Contact opens a ticket for your business, dojofood's support staff and, where applicable, the Partner may look at your business's account, including actions recorded under your login, and may ask you for screenshots, logs or a remote screen session. Support access is logged.
8.5 dojofood may monitor use of the Service for security, metering, support and abuse detection.
9. When your access ends
9.1 Your business may change or remove your access at any time. dojofood may suspend or remove your login if you breach these User Terms, if your login appears to be compromised, or if your business's subscription is suspended or ends.
9.2 When your access ends you lose the ability to use the Service. The data you entered remains your business's.
10. No warranty or liability toward you
10.1 dojofood provides the Service to your business under the Subscription Agreement. Toward you, the Service is provided "as is", without any warranty, and dojofood has no liability to you for any loss arising from your use of the Service, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing in these User Terms limits rights that mandatory law gives you and that cannot be waived.
11. Intellectual property
11.1 The Service, its design, software, models, prompts, documentation and trademarks belong to dojofood and its licensors. You receive no licence or right beyond the ability to use the Service for your work while your login is active.
11.2 dojofood may use any suggestions you send it, without payment. Unreleased features and security details you see at work are confidential; do not share them outside your business.
12. Changes
12.1 dojofood may change these User Terms. The new version is posted at dojofood.com or shown in the Service. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept it. For a material change dojofood may ask you to click "I accept" again in the application before you continue, and records that acceptance as in Section 1.4.
13. Language, law and disputes
13.1 These User Terms are written in English; where the country in which your business is established requires a local-language version, that version is shown to you and prevails. The language you choose for the Service itself has no effect on this. The laws of the State of Delaware, United States, govern them, without affecting mandatory rules of the country where you work, and any dispute goes to the court or arbitration body that applies to your business under the Subscription Agreement, unless mandatory law gives you another.
14. Contact
14.1 Questions about these User Terms: [email protected]. Questions about your access, your role, your permissions or your data at your business: your manager, a Support Contact or the Account Administrator, not dojofood.
End of the dojofood User Terms. These terms are accepted by each User individually at first login, in whichever dojofood application they use first, and do not replace the dojofood Subscription Agreement between your business and dojofood.
